Giesse Varia Tube Chain Motor (Actuator)

The newest member of the Giesse chain actuator family; it offers 350 N push/pull force and an adjustable stroke of 200–1,000 mm. With a fully metal body, it is EN 12101-2 certified and can be used in smoke and heat exhaust systems (RWA).

Varia Tube adapts to a variety of window types, from outward-opening windows to tilt/top-hung windows, roof windows and domes. Thanks to its advanced microprocessor-based electronic system, it can be integrated not only in industrial facilities but also into home automation (domotics) systems, to which it can be connected via existing devices. Stroke values can be selected via dip-switches; the Relax and Soft-Stop function rests the mechanical parts at the end of each stroke. With the patented Syncro3 technology, up to 8 Varia Tube units can be connected together; it has been tested for 10,000 cycles at maximum load and runs extremely quietly at 41 dB.
