G-U GU-934 Lift-and-Slide (Lift&Slide) Hardware System

G-U's flagship hardware system for aluminium lift-and-slide elements: it offers load capacity up to 350 kg with the standard bogie and 400 kg with the tandem bogie. It is the product of over 60 years of Lift&Slide expertise from Gretsch-Unitas, the inventor of the lift-and-slide system.

The GU-934 bogie system is used in lift-and-slide elements ranging from 700-3300 mm sash width and reaching a total width of 20 metres, with different sash schemes from A to L (from single sash + fixed glazing to four moving sashes). Tested system solutions with leading aluminium profile systems such as Akotherm, AluK, Alumil, Aluprof, Etem, Metra, Reynaers, Sapa and Wicona are included in the catalogue. With the HS LiftUnit, operating forces are significantly reduced and sash weights above 400 kg become possible; it can be extended with HS ePOWER / HS Master motorised drive, HS SpeedLimiter and HS SilentClose / HS StopUnit comfort hardware. RC2 burglar resistance is supported in the tested schemes; ferGUard and faceGUard surface options are available.
