Bossy friction stays are a type of concealed hinge that enables windows to open outward. Because the friction can be adjusted manually, the window stays fixed at the desired opening. The small size series covers 10" (211007) for 50 kg, 12" (211208) for 60 kg, 14" (211410) for 70 kg and 16" (211612) for 85 kg sashes; the standard size series ranges from 18" (211814) at 100 kg up to 28" (212820) at 155 kg, while the heavy duty versions reach 24" (222418) at 155 kg and 28" (222820) at 185 kg. The multi-bar design stabilises the structure, and high-strength load-bearing plates improve load performance.
